About CMER

Continuing Medical Education Resources, Inc. is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide CME activities for physicians. As the joint provider of your educational endeavor, CMER will partner with you to ensure that all ACCME policies and the Standards for Commercial Support of Continuing Medical Education are adhered to.

Mission Statement

The Purpose of Continuing Medical Education Resources, Inc. is to provide high-quality, evidence-based educational opportunities that are designed to improve physician competence and foster educational advances in the medical community. We will accomplish this mission by jointly providing educational activities which seek to advance knowledge and competence within the medical field while also adhering to the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education. In addition to live activities, our educational offerings may also include enduring materials, online CME and journal CME activities. We are committed to providing quality continuing medical and professional education to meet the needs of physicians, scientists, and other healthcare providers in the medical community. We will evaluate activities using customized evaluation tools related to the objectives and identified needs of the learners. We expect that activity evaluations will report greater confidence in the learners’ approach to problems or express their intent to change their behavior and apply newly acquired strategies in their practice. We expect that when observed our learners will demonstrate competence and the effective use of the learned skill sets. Overall, our program will be evaluated based on our success in changing learner knowledge and competence and providing a forum for the exchange of knowledge and implementation strategies pertaining to research, practice and education in the designated medical field.
